Open Use Content License (OUCL)
Updated December 2025
The Open Use Content License (OUCL) is the foundational content model of the DigitalAssetsPH Media Network. It enables open, frictionless reuse of article text content across all our platforms, including Tarana360, LayagPH, and future DigitalAssetsPH properties.
OUCL allows creators, publishers, educators, developers, and page owners to freely reuse, rewrite, remix, adapt, or republish article text content — even commercially — without needing attribution.
OUCL In Practice
Under OUCL, you may freely:
- Repost DigitalAssetsPH, Tarana360, or LayagPH articles on your own pages or channels
- Edit, rewrite, summarize, or translate text content
- Use article text in videos, podcasts, scripts, blogs, or derivative works
- Use the content for commercial or non-commercial projects
- Reuse or adapt content without naming the source (attribution optional)
However, the OUCL applies only to article text content. It does not apply to:
- DigitalAssetsPH, Tarana360, LayagPH brand names, trademarks, or logos
- Website designs, UI elements, or CSS frameworks
- Automation engines (e.g., Engine360) and internal systems
- APIs, dashboards, tooling, or backend infrastructure
- Database structures or operational workflows
Our content is open — our automation is not.
Open Use Content License (OUCL) v1.0 — Full Legal Text
Last Updated: 2025-12-02
1. Purpose
The Open Use Content License (OUCL) is a permissive content license designed to make news, articles, and informational content easy to reuse, adapt, and redistribute, while protecting the identity, brand, and systems of the original publisher.
2. Definitions
- “Publisher” — The individual or organization releasing content under this License.
- “Licensed Content” — Text-based articles, headlines, summaries, and editorial content released under OUCL.
- “This License” or “OUCL” — The Open Use Content License v1.0.
- “Systems” — Software, automation engines, APIs, internal tools, databases, and infrastructure belonging to the Publisher.
3. Grant of Permission for Content
The Publisher grants a worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable license to:
- Copy, repost, and redistribute Licensed Content
- Edit, rewrite, summarize, translate, or adapt Licensed Content
- Use Licensed Content commercially or non-commercially
- Create derivative works in any form
4. Attribution
Attribution is appreciated but not required. Users may reuse Licensed Content without naming the Publisher.
5. Prohibited Uses
- Impersonation: You may not present yourself as the Publisher.
- Brand Misuse: You may not use official names, logos, or identities without permission.
- System Access: OUCL does not grant access to automation engines, APIs, dashboards, or internal systems.
- Resale of Access: You may not resell or package our systems as your own service.
- Unlawful Use: Licensed Content may not be used illegally or maliciously.
6. No Exclusivity
The Publisher may license the same content under additional terms or agreements.
7. No Warranties
Licensed Content is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, including accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Publisher shall not be liable for damages resulting from use, misuse, or inability to use Licensed Content.
9. Use of This License Text
The OUCL license text itself is protected by copyright. You may adapt or reuse the license text only if you include the following attribution:
“This license is based on the Open Use Content License (OUCL) v1.0 authored by ASPulido, ThanksDad & Angelo Domingo of the DigitalAssetsPH Network (digitalassetsph.com, layagph.com, tarana360.com).”
10. Governing Philosophy (Non-Legal)
OUCL aims to empower creators and developers by making content reusable while protecting brand identity and proprietary automation systems.
11. Updates and Versions
The Publisher may release updated versions or revisions of OUCL. Content previously released under OUCL v1.0 remains valid under its original terms.
The OUCL Philosophy
OUCL also represents the internal principles guiding the DigitalAssetsPH ecosystem:
Open
Systems and processes must remain accessible, auditable, and adaptable for growth.
Unified
All DigitalAssetsPH brands operate under one synchronized automation engine for scale and consistency.
Compliant
We follow strict publishing, privacy, and transparency standards.
Lightweight
Our infrastructure is engineered for efficiency, speed, and minimal resource overhead.
The OUCL framework ensures clarity, stability, and long-term scalability across all DigitalAssetsPH products.
